LaGrange UPC is a Bible-based church. We look to the Word of God for beliefs and lifestyle choices.<\/b><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God and is the ultimate authority on salvation and Christian living \u2013\u00a02 Timothy 3:15-17<\/a><\/em><\/p>

We believe there is only one God. He has revealed Himself as Father (Creator), Son (Savior), and Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit) \u2013\u00a0Deuteronomy 6:4<\/a>,\u00a0Ephesians 4:4-6<\/a>,\u00a0Colossians 2:9<\/a>,\u00a01 Timothy\u00a03:16<\/a><\/em><\/p>

We believe that everyone has sinned and needs salvation \u2013\u00a0Romans 3:23-25,\u00a06:23<\/a>,\u00a0Ephesians 2:8-9<\/a><\/em><\/p>

We believe the Gospel is the good news of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We obey the Gospel by repentance (death to sin),\u00a0water baptism in Jesus\u2019 Name (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection)\u00a0\u2013\u00a02 Thessalonians 1:8,<\/a>\u00a0I Peter\u00a04:17,<\/a>\u00a01 Corinthians 15:1-4<\/a>;\u00a0Acts 2:4, 37-39,<\/a>\u00a0Romans 6:3-4<\/a><\/em><\/p>

We believe as Christians we should love Jesus and others, live holy inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully \u2013\u00a0Mark 12:28-31<\/a>,\u00a02 Corinthians 7:1<\/a>,\u00a0Hebrews\u00a012:14<\/a><\/em><\/p>

We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit; tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, and healing \u2013\u00a0Mark 16:15-18,<\/a>\u00a0Acts\u00a05:16,<\/a>\u00a01 Corinthians 12:1-11<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
